Community Involvement
Telcoe and its employees participate in several events and fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for various local charities.
IN THE COMMUNITY
We like to walk the walk here at Telcoe, so we stay heavily involved with many community organizations. Perhaps above all, we have a very special relationship with The Children's Miracle Network and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
COMMUNITY FIRST
Telcoe and its employees participate in several events and fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for Children's Miracle Network for Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Telcoe staff raises money throughout the year selling chocolate, going casual for the kids, and various other fundraisers. We offer a December Skip-a-Payment program and donate to Arkansas Children's Hospital for each payment skipped.
We also partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, Warm Hearts & Cold Noses/Pulaski County Humane Society, Children's Protection Center, and the Arkansas Learning Alliance. We do work hard to give back to our community partners. You can follow us on Facebook to see pictures from our fun events.
We’ve seen our communities face challenges due to the effects of the economy. Since March
2020, Arkansas Foodbank has distributed 28.3 million pounds of food – a 43% increase
compared to this time last year. One in five Arkansans already don’t know where their next meal is
coming from.
Telcoe and our members helped these people by donating $10,000 to the
Arkansas
Foodbank. Thank you for helping us make this donation!
Founded in 1983, Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. This year we are on target to donate over $30,000.
In 2022 we are again working to raise $30,000, here is our current fundraiser-HERE.
If you would like to help us in our efforts, please let us know the next time you visit one of our branch locations or contact us at (501) 375-5321 Or donate online to CMN-ACH HERE.
Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
